With the housing market in such turmoil, selling your home and moving to a new one is a challenge. A
good financial option is to invest where you know your money is protected. ShadeTree Service can
design the additional space you need and remodel, improve or build an addition to your home, so that it
meets your changing needs. The good news is, that we can accomplish the home improvements you
want for less per square foot than it would cost to buy new. As usual, the best deals are the ones easy
to explain.
This home in Raleigh was originally built in 1920.  ShadeTree Service repaired, remodeled and
renovated the Carolina Bungalow, bringing all aspects up to contemporary North Carolina
Building Code.  The attic was converted to living space in conjunction with a completely new
floor plan design, which you can view on our
Drawings page.  A great amount effort was put
forth to retain the look and feel of the period.  The New Bern house is a prime example of
what you can accomplish with an older home given a little creativity and ingenuity.  The
appraisal of this downtown home was increased to over $180,000.00, after a $150,000.00 total
investment; a 20% return.
